The UConn Stamford Local Eatery Meal Plan connect hungry Huskies with Stamford's local eateries. The meal plan allows students to purchase blocks of meals for use at off-campus, independent, restaurants. Participating restaurants will provide healthy, well-balanced options and accommodate dietary restrictions when possible.

The Jeremy Richard Library at UConn Stamford is dedicated to serving the research needs of the students and faculty of the University of Connecticut.
We serve as the focal point for the Stamford Campus. Our computer workstations are networked to the main campus and provide access to thousands of e-books, full-text reference sources, and journal articles.
The library has a dedicated study area on the first floor to the memory of Dr. Estelle F. Feinstein, renowned Stamford historian and history professor at UConn from 1957-1989. Our library learning commons also houses the computer lab, the Stamford Tutoring Center, our Thomson-Reuters Corporation e-Classroom, and a historic WPA Mural entitled “School Activities (James Daugherty).”

UConn Stamford Tutoring houses the Writing Center and Q Course Center and is located on the second floor of the Library. The Student Government Association (SGA) is the undergraduate governing body for UConn Stamford. USG coordinates activities, represents the student body, acts as a liaison between the administration and students, and oversees the expenditure of student activity fees.

Student Health & Wellness (SHaW) is dedicated to supporting students' physical and mental well-being through comprehensive healthcare services. - Stamford Campus Nurse Navigators: A nurse navigator is a nurse that can guide students, offer support, education, advocate, and assist with coordination of care for acute or chronic healthcare needs including referrals to medical services in the community. A nurse is available for students on campus or through our 24/7 advice nurse line at 860-486-4700. This is a free and confidential resource.
- Clinical Case Manager for Mental Health Services: Our mental health professionals can provide short-term counseling. For students seeking more intensive treatment, our mental health case managers can connect students to appropriate local providers with experience working with college students.

UConn's Pre-Medical and Pre-Dental Advising Office provides resources and advising to UConn students and alumni interested in pursuing careers in the health professions. Our office specializes in working with our pre-medical and pre-dental populations, but we encourage all students to explore their career options in health fields.

UConn is committed to helping students and alumni prepare for law school and legal careers. At the Pre-Law Advising Office, we offer events and workshops to help students get a sense of what it means to be a lawyer. The Individualized and Interdisciplinary Studies Program (IISP) works with undergraduates who wish to design their own majors or pursue select interdisciplinary minors (including Global Studies, European Studies, and Crime and Justice). The Center for International Students and Scholars (CISS) opened in July 2022 to create a welcoming space for international students and visiting scholars and bring together services for international students and visiting scholars at the Storrs campus.
ISSS at UConn Stamford serves the advising needs of international students and scholars on F and J visas at the Stamford and Waterbury campuses. As International Advisor, Dr. Lulu Dong advises students and scholars on immigration and cultural transition matters, processes immigration applications and serves a resource to UConn Stamford and UConn Waterbury faculty and staff.

Drop in advising hours are for routine questions regarding employment, travel, extensions, CPT/OPT, withdrawing from a course, applying for a Driver’s License or Social Security Number, or other routine matters. ISSS cannot process your application or request during walk-in advising hours. If you are submitting an application for processing and you have questions about the application, please come during walk-in advising hours.
