The Cultural Centers and Programs at the University of Connecticut serve as vital resources supporting the social, behavioral, and cultural needs of students. They also provide an important resource to the UConn community as a central reference point for issues and historical context related to the demographic group represented by the center. The Cultural Centers and Programs also work collaboratively to bring light to issues that impact the community of underrepresented populations at UConn.

The Asian American Cultural Center (AsACC) at the University of Connecticut is dedicated to enhancing the university's commitment to diversity through recruitment, retention, teaching, service, and outreach to the Asian American community on campus and beyond. Central to its programming, AsACC assists students in exploring and defining their cultural identity within multicultural America. The center provides a supportive environment that encourages academic excellence, personal development, community engagement, and professional leadership.

The H. Fred Simons African American Cultural Center (AACC) at UConn is dedicated to supporting African American students, faculty, and staff. Its mission is to promote cultural preservation, quality leadership, and academic excellence through a variety of programs and activities that foster a deeper appreciation and understanding of the rich heritage and cultures of African Americans and the African Diaspora.

The Middle Eastern Cultural Programs (MECP) strive to foster connections between students, promote the education of Middle Eastern culture, celebrate the intersectionality of identities, and advocate for the professional development of students.

The Native American Cultural Programs (NACP) at the University of Connecticut is dedicated to supporting Native and Indigenous students while fostering relationships with local tribal nations and promoting cultural awareness across campus. NACP offers a welcoming space for students, faculty, staff, and community members to connect, share, and celebrate Indigenous cultures and histories.

The Puerto Rican/Latin American Cultural Center (PRLACC) at UConn serves as a vibrant hub for students, faculty, staff, and community members interested in exploring and celebrating Latinx/a/o cultures. PRLACC is dedicated to improving the status of Latinx students and promoting awareness, understanding, and appreciation of the richness and diversity of Latinx individuals and Latin American cultures.

The UConn Rainbow Center is dedicated to fostering a more equitable and inclusive environment for all students, faculty, and staff at the University of Connecticut. Utilizing an intersectional approach, the center focuses on advocacy, education, access, retention, identity development, and community-building for queer and trans-spectrum communities.

The UConn Women's Center is dedicated to fostering gender equity through education, advocacy, and support services for the university community. Its mission encompasses addressing issues such as sexual assault, dating and domestic violence, sexual harassment, stalking, and gender discrimination, providing assistance to students, faculty, and staff.
