The Provost is the University’s chief academic officer and is responsible for all academic programs at the main campus in Storrs, at the four regional campuses at Avery Point, Hartford, Stamford, and Waterbury, the School of Law in Hartford, and the Schools of Medicine and Dental Medicine at UConn Health in Farmington. Jeremy TeitelbaumInterim Provost Jeremy Teitelbaum

Jeremy Teitelbaum became Interim Provost on February 1, 2017. He previously served for more than eight years as Dean of CLAS, beginning in August 2008.

A native of New York City who grew up in Denver, he earned a BA in mathematics summa cum laude from Carleton College and a PhD in mathematics from Harvard University.
